VALRYN PUBLIC POLICY
Privacy Policy
This policy explains how VALRYN handles information for accounts, Media, connected Facebook Pages, and security operations. It is written for the current private-beta service and reflects implemented behavior.
Effective date: October 6, 2026
Information VALRYN handles
VALRYN may process account and profile information such as sign-in identifiers, display information, account settings, and authentication status. VALRYN also processes user-created content, Media posts, comments, reactions, saves, shares, follows, messages, notifications, reports, moderation records, uploaded assets, and service state needed to operate the platform.
VALRYN may keep security, audit, diagnostic, and service logs so the platform can protect accounts, investigate errors or abuse, preserve evidence, and maintain system integrity.
Media and connected services
VALRYN Media lets users create VALRYN content and, when a connected provider is authorized, publish or import provider content through governed controls. Connecting a Facebook account does not automatically publish anything to Facebook.
For Facebook/Meta connections, VALRYN may request Meta authorization, discover manageable Facebook Pages available to the signed-in user, and let the user explicitly select a Page. VALRYN stores only the provider information needed to operate the connection and keeps provider credential material in secure server-side custody. Raw Facebook access tokens are not shown in the browser.
External Facebook publishing requires an explicit preview and approval step before a post is sent. VALRYN records provider readback, receipt, and evidence information after publishing so the service can show truthful publication status.
Inbound Facebook content
When Facebook sends webhook signals for a connected Page, VALRYN verifies the request and then retrieves provider content from Meta through the authorized server-side path. Imported Facebook content begins in a review-required state. It does not become a VALRYN Media post until an authenticated user chooses to add it.
When provider content is imported, VALRYN preserves external-source provenance. Imported content is not treated as native VALRYN authorship unless the implemented product state supports that truthfully.
How VALRYN uses information
- to create and maintain accounts;
- to provide Media, profile, notifications, messaging, and other VALRYN features;
- to connect selected third-party services at the user's request;
- to publish externally only after explicit approval;
- to retrieve and review inbound provider content for connected Pages;
- to secure, audit, debug, and improve the service;
- to respond to privacy, safety, legal, or support requests.
User controls
Signed-in users can manage their account through VALRYN settings. Account deletion is available through the signed-in Delete Account flow. Users who cannot access their account or need privacy assistance can contact VALRYN at valrynllc@gmail.com.
Current account deletion removes the VALRYN account and supported VALRYN user data. Because connected provider credentials and destination records use separate governed custody, users who need help disconnecting Facebook/Meta access or removing provider access should contact VALRYN until a self-service disconnect flow is available.
Retention and deletion
VALRYN does not promise immediate deletion from every system or backup. Some records may remain when reasonably needed for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, audit/evidence integrity, abuse prevention, backup integrity, or service recovery.
Children
VALRYN is not presented here as a children's product. Users should use VALRYN only when they are legally able to have an account or with any consent required by applicable law. A dedicated children's product direction has been deprecated by Founder direction and is not part of this Meta publication readiness policy.
Third-party services
When users connect or interact with Meta, Facebook, or other external services, those services may process information under their own policies and terms. Users are responsible for following the rules of the connected service and for having the rights needed to publish or import content.
